Step 1 – Needs Analysis & Risk Assessment
A Colt representative will be in contact to discuss your business’ service needs, and work with you to generate a Zero Landfill, Zero Export electronics recycling plan that aligns with your required security protocols.
Step 2 – Agreement
A write-up of the scope of services to be delivered by Colt to maintain the integrity of your agency’s data, while securely and effectively managing the removal of agreed upon, end-of-life electronic assets.
Step 3 – Scheduling
A Colt or strategic partner representative will work with your company to schedule the optimal time for either On-Site pickup or Off-Site delivery.
Step 4 – Transportation
Colt’ uses industry leading technology to transport your recyclables and sensitive data. Each tractor and trailer is wired with the latest in GPS tracking technology and intrusion protection reinforcement. All employees entering your facility are U.S. citizens and have undergone thorough background checks.
Step 5– Processing
Based on agreed terms, Colt will process your electronic assets or other precious-metal-bearing materials. This step can also include onsite destruction as well as asset disposition and remarketing services.
Step 6 – Final Documentation
At the heart of Colt’ process is documentation. Once all data destruction and/or electronics recycling has been completed each client receives a complete audit of all actions taken and a Certificate of Destruction or a Certificate of Recycling. This documentation is your final representation that all work was completed. The certificate each client receives is a legal document signed by a company officer. These certificates have been audited and are nationally recognized.
